Created attachment 121241 [details] File containing sub/superscripting and equalized cells Superscripting and/or subscripting is not retained in cells set equal to other cells that contain superscripted and/or subscripted text. 1. Open a Calc file. 2. Write some text in a cell (e.g., A1) and superscript one of the characters. 3. Set another cell equal to that cells contents (e.g., type "=A1" into cell C1). 4. Cell C1 will not retain the superscripted formatting. Current behavior: Superscripting and/or subscripting is lost. Expected behavior: Superscripting and/or subscripting is retained. If using superscripting, then depending on the characters you need formatting, using Unicode can be a workaround. However, for subscripted characters this is much less likely (particularly for a font family like Liberation). Also, one has to think of the workaround.
Reproducible also with 3.5. Not sure if it's a bug, for example bold formatting is not also retained.
I'm not sure it is a bug. In any case seem a duplicate, please if you are not agree reopen it. Interesting comments there. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 82857 ***
