Created attachment 121411 [details] bug rpt- OSX Console After upgrading to 5.042, the pasting of text, including photos and a video, from website hung the application. Using template built in previous version (formatted for header & footer for title, date, and page numbers), previous versions always accepted and allowed editing of document – now, however: 1) Writer accepted text, but took time to process full document (spinning pinwheel in OSX). in 10 seconds, settled with cursor showing. 2) Clicking anywhere in document immediately started hang w/ pinwheel, this time locking application for interminable period (waited 10 minutes 1st time, tried 2 more times). see attached for event log of final episode.
You don't state from which site and which content you have problems with. Possible duplicate from bug 93971 ???

The most recent update has seemingly resolved this issue. Text pastes quickly and while there is a slow scroll when reaching a video that is placed in the text, there is not a hang as before.
