Description Willy 2016-01-09 19:33:20 UTC
Hi,
I tried to create a new table in a new DB and found some issues.
Win 7 64-bit, versions 5.0.3.2,5.0.4.2

* Immediately after creating a field that field can't be changed any more.
* Unable to create a working autovalue field. The required parameter always was set to "no".
* Insert row is not working.
* Unable to change the order of the fields.

May be there are more issues related to the table editor.

Kind regards,
Willy

Did these work in a prevous version?

@Willy : please open a bug report for each problem.

Also please answer Beluga's question.

We need further information to process your report(s) :

Java version and bit type - you need a 64bit JDK/JRE to be able to do any work with the 64bit LibreOffice database module

About Java shows
Version 8 Update 66 (build 1.8.0_66-b18)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_66\bin\javaw.exe

Did you open bug reports for all separate problems? Please link to them here.

Please include exact steps we need to do to see the problems. Most bug testers don't have much experience with Base.

I believe that that is the path for 32bit programs - you need a 64bit JRE/JDK.

In Windows 7, 64bit program files are installed into C:\Program Files\

Sorry for the late reply, but I'm very busy at the moment.

I could solve the issues by uninstalling all Java versions and LibreOffice including the roaming profile. Then I explicitly installed 64-bit versions of Java and LO.

Yes, there was a mismatch between LO and the last Java Update, which was for any unknown reason a 32-bit version.
Thanks for your help.
