Created attachment 121834 [details] example document When the document contains a header and the first paragraph of body text is hidden, "Select all" won't work - the cursor will just be placed in header. See example document. The bug exist since I work with StarOffice 5.2
Appears to be working on libreoffice 5.0.3.2 on ubuntu 15.10. What version of libreoffice and OS are you using?
Hello Luke, thanks for your reply. I have at least tested it with Windows 10 and LO 5.1.0.0.beta2+ (Build-ID: afa8fec8367c747cbf50d81fe836dd1679b85867) and I have just downloaded Ubuntu 15.10 and can confirm the bug there too (LO 5.0.2.2) I forgot to say that you have to deactivate the display for hidden paragraphs (deselecting checkbox in menu: View - Hidden Paragraphs). When pressing ctrl+a or dispatching .uno:SelectAll the cursor jumps to the header and nothing will be selected.
Can confirm described behaviour. Windows 10 Pro, Version 1511 (OS Build 10586.36) LibreOffice 5.0.4.2, Build ID 2b9802c1994aa0b7dc6079e128979269cf95bc78 Locale en_US Placing the cursor where the hidden paragraph is and pressing Ctrl+A places the cursor into the header. When "View -> Hidden Paragraphs" is toggled and the paragraph visible, it selects the paragraph as expected. When text is entered into line 2 when the paragraph is hidden, the newly added text is not selected, instead the cursor goes back to the header. Set to MINOR because it doesn't stop anyone from selecting per click+drag.
