This is not a custom extension, backing up the file should be automaticated, pro simple users who are not expert, in cloud, or at least as export file !!! Please do it !!! It is very important !

Then you can use whatever backup software.
To complicated pro kid, old and simple user, I want an export bouton, universal format (pro all programs) and Cloud Export (Apple, Google, Microsoft, others...) !!! Plêase !!!

If I ask pro an export & cloud option, it is to be able to use a common files, between pro example Libre Office in my Windows PC & Libre Office on my Iphone iOS !!! It would be easier to share a auto‑correction files between different hardware by using the Cloud !!!
Beluga gave a perfectly reasonable way of achieving what you want. You could probably accomplish this with a minimal script. That being said, I guess it's a reasonable corner case request so I'll push to NEW. NOTE: Enhancements are *entirely* implemented by volunteers so some enhancements even if valid *never* get implemented. We don't give an ETA or guarantee that the enhancement will be implemented.

Please don't cross post pet bugs - it adds a bunch of superfluous text. Just again FYI - this is a volunteer project so just because you report a bug does not mean it'll be fixed (ever really). The choices are always the same: 1) Fix it yourself (code is freely available); 2) Pay for a fix; 3) Wait - could be a week, could be forever That's the nature of open source projects. Also, no need for the !!!!. There is a very good chance that this enhancement will never be implemented (if a volunteer never finds it interesting enough to do).

Changing summary here. To make clear that it is just the control allowing to connect to a share, that is desired. TDF is not (at least not in the current policy) going to provide such a cloud service for LibreOffice users. And wrt the share: there is File > Open Remote / File > Save Remote, that would serve in this respect.
