Description nemzag 2016-01-13 12:01:21 UTC

I love the Auto‑correc‑ti‑ôn func‑ti‑ôn, buth it would be cool to be able to ex‑porth the modi‑fi‑ed list di‑rect‑ly vrom the Auto‑cor‑rec‑ti‑ôn windows, to Google Drive / Apple Cloud / One Drive or to HD/USB, in format TEXT or CALC, like that we can back‑up our modi‑fica‑ti‑ôn, and re‑in‑stall them if need‑ed after formatt‑ing the drive or a pro‑blem (virus, failure)...

Can you allov us, to make our own en_NAMEOFUSER.dic when we use Open / Libre Office ? I would like to use my own versi‑ôn of en_UK.dic call‑ed en_NEMZAGDI.dic or en_AMNGZEDI.dic...

With the possi‑bili‑ty to ex‑porth them like in cloud di‑rect‑ly vrôm the Auto‑cor‑rec‑ti‑ôn windows menu, like I ask‑ed it here :

Also, some‑time I would like to trans‑code text (vrom web copi‑ed in VRITE) us‑ing my auto‑cor‑rec‑ti‑ôn modi‑fica‑ti‑ôn, buth there is no button to push to trans‑muthe the text, can you please ad‑d it ?

Please do all of this pro us !!! Tʰang... Ʒood day...

You should be able to create a custom dictionary.

About the cloud thing, I think it is another job for a custom extension.. sorry wontfixing this one.
Comment 2 nemzag 2016-01-15 18:54:08 UTC
This is not a custom extension, backing up the file should be automaticated, pro simple users who are not expert, in cloud, or at least as export file !!!
Please do it !!! It is very important !

AutoCorrect {user}\user\autocorr{user}/user/autocorr This folder stores your own AutoCorrect texts.

You can define your own folder. Then you can use whatever backup software.

Here is the idea that I had when using Libre Office in detention...

It is in french !!! But others useful, I will not translate sorry !!!
Comment 7 nemzag 2016-01-17 03:24:49 UTC
If I ask pro an export & cloud option, it is to be able to use a common files, between pro example Libre Office in my Windows PC & Libre Office on my Iphone iOS !!! It would be easier to share a auto‑correction files between different hardware by using the Cloud !!!

Beluga gave a perfectly reasonable way of achieving what you want. You could probably accomplish this with a minimal script.

That being said, I guess it's a reasonable corner case request so I'll push to NEW.

NOTE: Enhancements are *entirely* implemented by volunteers so some enhancements even if valid *never* get implemented. We don't give an ETA or guarantee that the enhancement will be implemented.
Comment 9 nemzag 2016-01-17 21:24:34 UTC
Kanth you, Joêl Madero

Sorry, but I'm not very trams, like you are,
And I don't know how to create a script or macro,
I live in a retrograde little city,
And they didn't invented these technics,
So sure no one here was able to teach me these good trick !!!
Except Universities ! But I have memory problem...

I hope that the cloud would be implemented with an universal format like a proposed here :
To share the setting & auto-correction between different hardware & os !!!

I also really need to interconnect in some way FoxReplace terms list change in Libre Office, of course Beluga talk about an extension, but I hope that you will add it in Libre Office it would wonder-full to be able to import them in the tool, gain of time, than adding two time same modifications !!!

I also asked pro vertical alignment and he refused when in fact it is very useful... Using multiple column automatically sized !

Now, I use your tool, but I have some trouble, I need a function "substitute" with poly than 40 change, like 100 or 200 !!! I really need and fast, I waiting since 2012 to see this change ! But I never proposed before, since I'm free since november 2014.

I also proposed new kind of substitute function, far shorter !!!

Ʒood day

Please don't cross post pet bugs - it adds a bunch of superfluous text. Just again FYI - this is a volunteer project so just because you report a bug does not mean it'll be fixed (ever really). The choices are always the same:

1) Fix it yourself (code is freely available);
2) Pay for a fix;
3) Wait - could be a week, could be forever

That's the nature of open source projects.

Also, no need for the !!!!.

There is a very good chance that this enhancement will never be implemented (if a volunteer never finds it interesting enough to do).
Comment 11 nemzag 2016-01-18 01:59:47 UTC
Ok, man...
Corrected or not,
I still need to report to you.
If you correct it or not it's not my problem,
but you should,
if you want to have the best tool possible...

Fix my self ?
I'm not computer programmator,
If I was,
I will help you and do it alone.

Pay pro fix, I'm poor,
I'm handicapped and get 550€ each month in Belgium,
when level of poverty is 1050€ each month !!!

This idea is very useful,
and if Firefox have this kind of thing,
why not in Open/libre Office ?

About !!! It's my freedom to use them,
Since they are in keyboard.
Let me vrite how I like plêase...

Kanth you, good day.

Please stop messing with things - first warning.

All caps is obnoxious and doesn't help anyone. Reverting change.
Comment 13 nemzag 2016-01-18 02:26:36 UTC
I speak French, very rarely English,
And I don't understand what you mean by "things" & "Caps"...
When I don't understand I use Babylon. But in this case it's not helping me.
Sorry, problem of comprehension...
Comment 14 nemzag 2016-01-22 15:54:24 UTC
Here is explain how to do the trick :

But some contrary spirit want to live in the past.

Changing summary here. To make clear that it is just the control allowing to connect to a share, that is desired. TDF is not (at least not in the current policy) going to provide such a cloud service for LibreOffice users.

And wrt the share: there is File > Open Remote / File > Save Remote, that would serve in this respect.
