ODS file with a Pivot table to check the bug

Since LO 4.3 (see bibisect below), it is no longer possible to hide some levels for columns: the drop-menu menu (activated by clicking on the grey cell containing the name of the variable) has been removed. Yet, the equivalent menu for rows is still present. This looks like an oversight to me.

What's weird is that the grey cell for columns, which previously contained the name of the variable (in the attached file, var2, just like var1 for rows), has disappeared. It has been replaced with a weird "Data" cell. Indeed, a phantom variable called "Data" also appears when creating the Pivot table. This is very annoying, as the name of the variable is a useful information, and this mysterious "Data" entry is confusing.

For comparison, latest versions of MS Excel include menus for both rows and columns (see screenshot in next comment). This makes it hard for me to argue for the use of recent LO versions instead of Excel.

Here's the bibisect log (with bibisect43only):

What do you mean? The bug is that there is no button to open the drop-down menu for columns. Have you found a way to open it?

Workarround :
Edit the Pivot Table (Right-Click, Edit layout) and drag the field "Data" in the last position of column field (after var2).
