Description Tristan Miller 2016-02-17 14:54:12 UTC
I recently updated from LibreOffice 5.0.x to LibreOffice 5.1.0.3 on openSUSE 13.2 (x86-64, KDE 4). I now find that all drop-down menus in dialog windows are broken. If I use my mouse to click on a drop-down menu, then it expands to show me the list of options, but clicking on any of the options has no effect. Selecting an option using the keyboard still works normally. Only those drop-down menus that appear in dialog windows are affected; drop-down menus in toolbars still work normally. This problem affects all LibreOffice applications.

Reproducibility: Always

Sample steps to reproduce:

1. Open LibreOffice Writer.
2. Format->Page.  A "Page Style" dialog appears.
3. Click on the "Page" tab.
4. Click on the drop-down menu next to "Format". The menu expands to show various paper sizes.
5. Click on any paper size.

Observed behaviour:

6. Nothing happens.

Expected behaviour:

6. The paper size I clicked on should be selected, and the drop-down menu should close.

Possibly related: Bug 95241.

On further searching, perhaps this is a duplicate of Bug 96604.

Yep, seems like it.

You can test with 5.1.1 RC1 to find out, but let's close for now.
