Starting with version 5.1.0.3, the Slides Pane interferes with the Math Elements Pane. Graphical artifacts from the Slides Pane often obscure/hide the Elements Pane and the Math editing pane at the bottom of the window.

This behavior does not exist in version 5.0.5 or earlier.

Reseting my user profile had no effect--the bug still occurs.
