Demo file to reproduce

Hello,

1. I save the ODP file in attachment to PPT format and try to open the PPT file with MS Powerpoint 2010. MS Powerpoint 2010 can't open it (sometimes only).

2. I open the PPT file with Impress and it works.

I saved it to PPT and MSO2013 opens it just fine.

I can not confirm with LO 5.1.1.3; win7 and powerpoint2010 -> I can open format ppt and pptx in powerpoint without problem.
Debian's bug is very old Date: Wed, 17 Apr 2013, seems to be fixed in actual version. Closing, set to unconfirmed if you're able to reproduce the bug in 5.1.x version. Thanks
