Description Piero 2016-03-01 19:00:01 UTC
when I open 2 files in calc and 1 has a password , moving from files I see the box with password and file directory .This happens when you move from the open file with password to one without it.
When I did printscreen I could see the open file (without password in my case) and the "enter password box with ... password of the other file already open.

I do not how, but I could even copy and past the password of the open file.

Thanks

Piero

Please find here the screenshot attached , Walmart is the file with password .

Could be possible that in some way you are open twice encrypted file, and the box password is for open the second.
Comment 4 Piero 2016-03-03 23:16:51 UTC
hi,
No I opened a spreadsheet with password and one without password.

When I move the cursor from the spreadsheet without password to that of password I see the password box.

I opened 2 protected spreadsheets with passwords .

When I move the cursor from the first open spreadsheet to the second I see the password box.

If I open 3 spreasheets protected by password, I see the password box only of the last opened spreadsheet .

I scanned 3 times with Windows Defender antivirus , but I could not find anything.

Have nice day

Piero

Hi,

I have 3 spreadsheets protected by passwords and I see the password box of 2:

I move the cursor from spreadsheet A to B , I see the password box of A .

I move the cursor from spreadsheet B to c , I see the password box of B .

Hi, I'm not able to reproduce.

Changed to unconfirmed, so some else can test.

Saved image from spreadsheet. Please don't needlessly embed a screenshot into a spreadsheet in the future.

Hi Piero,
It's possible that there's something special about your test documents. Could you please create and upload 2 Calc documents (one with a password & one without) that show the problem for you? Thanks!

Second thing to try: Download a 5.1 build and see if that fixes the problem:

I tried with this.

Steps:
1. Create new empty Calc document
2. Open spreadWithPas.ods
3. Enter password
4. Switch between documents

No password dialog shown ever.

Piero: are my steps exactly as yours? Or can you repro with my steps as well?
