Description Stéphane Aulery 2016-03-02 12:49:14 UTC
Hi,

Using Gnome, when I have a Libreoffice Writer window open, with the cursor
inside a table cell, the Libreoffice Writer window does not have focus when I
switch to another window and back (either using Alt-Tab or using the cursor on
the applications pane).

To reproduce the bug:
1. Open Libreoffice Writer
2. Create a 2 x 2 table
3. Position cursor inside a cell of the table
4. Switch to another window on the Gnome desktop, either using Alt-Tab or using
the mouse to select an alternative window on the applications pane
5. Switch back to the Libreoffice Writer window
6. The Libreoffice Writer window displays itself but the window is not in
focus. It is necessary to click in the window again in order to have the window
be in focus and continue editing the document. This is a problem when having to
copy and paste a lot of text between two open documents.

The bug is also reproducible by:
1. Open Libreoffice Writer
2. Create a 2 x 2 table, by going: Table > Insert > Table > OK
3. The Libreoffice Writer window immediately loses focus and it is necessary to
click inside the window again to continue editing the document.

Thank you for the great work you do.

Toby

Hi,

Please test with a currently supported version of LibreOffice. 4.4 has been EOl for a long time, 5.1 is currently supported.

FWIW:
Tested with:
Bodhi Moksha
LibreOffice 5.2

I don't see this problem. setting to NEEDINFO, if you see the problem with 5.1 or newer, please set back to UNCONFIRMED. Thanks!
