Created attachment 123342 [details] Open this and writer uses 16k/16kBps network for no reason If I open the attached file, my network usage jumps to 16k up 16kBps down. I pasted some text from a website and noticed my network activity went from zero to 16k bytes/s up and down continuously. I traced it back to what looks like a 'character' pasted from the website. (I went to the web address and it is a blank page that loads instantly, and my browser uses 0kBps).

Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
