Created attachment 123849 [details] Scaling 109+ defect Hi, I use LibreOffice 5.1.1.3 /Build ID: 1:5.1.1-0ubuntu1. By "accident", I detected the following bug: Increasing the scaling to a value higher than 108% leads to corrupted text boxes in the menus. Obviously, the problem is that the effect of the scaling to the text size in the text boxes (e.g. drop box for fonts and font sizes) is higher than the to the hight of the text box. Just for info => I changed the scaling by use of the following steps in the menu: => Tools => Options => LibreOffice => View => Scaling I would appreciate your help. Kind regards, Kenzo
Can not confirm on Windows 8.1 Ent 64-bit en-US with Version: 5.1.2.1 (x64) Build ID: 2603b69c5ec5981bb5f053f8ebfd1f3de00a4c29 CPU Threads: 8; OS Version: Windows 6.29; UI Render: GL; Locale: en-US (en_US) Get clean font/UI scaling to at least 175% boxes expand to hold font as scaled. In recent builds of master TB39, TB42 with/without OpenGL rendering also no issue although the scaling of toolbar combobox widget is a little under size. Sidebar widgets scale cleanly.
I reproduce. Maybe related to bug 83267? Arch Linux 64-bit, KDE Plasma 5 Version: 5.2.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 9b0069c2833313ba9fab91f45edd354ba334f94b CPU Threads: 8; OS Version: Linux 4.4; UI Render: default; Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8) Built on April 3rd 2016
Hi all, thanks a lot for your efforts. Yes - there seems to be a link to bug 83267. I further investigated on the bug. The defect does not occur in widget style QtCurve - it seems to interfere with the widget style "Breeze" in KDE Plasma... As I came to the conclusion, that LibreOffice and all the other applications look much better in QtCurve, I simply changed the withget style. However, if there is a chance to fix that bug, it would be great - even if it is not relevant for me anymore... LibreOffice is an outstanding result of work provided by a lot of people - with some alignments in the Look and Feel - which seems from my point of view the only notionable weakness for a lot of people - the acceptance of that work could be increased extremely! Thanks again all of you for providing that excellent application! Cheers, Kenzo
