Original document (Corel Draw 8)

The bug was first reported in the Inkscape bug tracker (https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1395436 "Text offset to left when loading CDR file"), with Inkscape 0.91.
Also reproduced with the latest cdr2xhtl utility (based on libcdr-0.1.2).

The generated text has a small left offset compared to the original viewed in Corel Draw 8.

Note that the text was correctly centered when the file is converted with 0.0.10, but displaced with libcdr 0.0.14, 0.0.16, 0.1.0 and 0.1.2.

Is it possible to get a screenshot of the original?

I think the problem is not in libcdr, but in the SVG generator in librevenge. If opened in libreoffice, the text looks quite good.

Thanks for your answer, David.

The file indeed shows correctly in LibreOffice 5.1.

Unfortunately I can't provide a screenshot because I don't have Corel Draw installed on my computer. I've just asked the original reporter, but the report is 18 month old and I'm not sure he's still using the same tools and the same version.
That said, I guess the original CDR file looks like the file in attachment 123978 [details].
