Hanging screen

When I was trying to change the font when using Calc the dropdown does not show any numbers. Then when I wanted to save the document all the buttons became frozen. Then when clicked the "About" menu the pop-up screen does not show any text, in fact it shows the background image.

Please try to disable openGL and HW acceleration.

I re-tried after making the recommended changes and it seemed OK. Thanks a lot for your kind assistance.
