Dear team,

I tried three times to donate from the download page via Paypal but Paypal always stated after successful login: "Your request failed due to technical difficulties.Please try again after some time."

Do you think there is an issue with your Paypal integration? 

Any tips what I can do?

PayPal donations come in, so there seem to be no general problem.
Can you let us know how precisely you tried to do the donation, via which website?

Gerold, I could find some recent results with Google of similar error message (not related to TDF, only to Paypal), and that disabling two-factor authentication helped. Might be worth a try if it's currently enabled for you.

Yes, I have two-factor-auth switched on - so this might be a reason for the error.
But I don't like the idea to switch it off. A better solution would be to support this Paypal feature, right? Or is TFA used so rarely by Paypal customers?

Anyway, I will do the donation now via credit card...
