Description twrenchlock 2016-05-13 21:34:20 UTC
This occurs with current (5.0.3.2) and previous version of Writer on windows and linux machines. While converting poetry files from lwp format, sentences which do not contain an initial capital letter on the first word in the original file have one when they are converted to doc/docx/rtf. All other formatting converts perfectly.

ie. original: the red bird, converted: The red bird

I have 2000 files to convert for a poet but I can't because this change affects the artistic integrity of his work.

Try 'options > autoformat > autoformat options > options' and uncheck 'Capitalize first letter of every sentence'. Does this help ?
