Video of bug occuring

When I edit formulas in Impress the GUI glitches. The pane on the left is sometimes displayed over the formula editing box. It looks like there is supposed to be some context specific pane on the left for editing formulas, but I can't see it. The pane on the right also looks like it isn't being displayed properly.tu 1

The attachment is a video demonstrating the UI bugs.

I am running Impress 5.1.2.2 on Ubuntu 16.04. I am using the proprietary nvidia drivers Ubuntu allows you to install.

Looks like another instance of Bug 96451, closing as duplicate.
