Description Nicolas Mailhot 2016-05-17 14:45:54 UTC
When you try to check the hyperlinks of a document using the navigator, focus moves all the time wasting time reviewing the same hyperlinks again and again

1. create a document with dozens of hyperlinks
2. open the hyperlink list in the navigator
3. try to fix hyperlinks one after the other (because of bug #99912 for example)
  a. double-click on each hyperlink entry to focus it
  b. change the hyperlink text or target

Expected behaviour: after changing, adding or deleting an hyperlink the navigator focus stays on the current hyperlink or at least the next one in the list

Actual behaviour: the list is reordered, focus is lost, need to restart from the beginning to make sure you've reviewed all the hyperlinks

I was able to reproduce this on Version 5.2.0.0 with Windows 10. I also tested this on OpenOffice 4.2 and achieved the same results. It seems that if a hyperlink is changed, the ordering on the list of hyperlinks in the navigator window changes, along with the currently focused hyperlink. I'm not sure if this is the intended behavior or not, but here's my 2 cents anyways.

Steps:
1. open a new writer document and create multiple hyperlinks
2. click View>Navigator and extend the Hyperlinks list by clicking the + buton next to Hyperlinks
3. Double click on the first hyperlink in the list to focus on it
4. Right Click on any other hyperlink on the list and click Edit.
5. Change the text or target and click OK.

Result: The list is reordered and the focused hyperlink was moved to the one that was changed.

Nicolas: is this basically a duplicate of bug 52115?
Comment 3 Nicolas Mailhot 2016-05-18 12:49:05 UTC
bug #52115 is indeed one way the hyperlink list could be fixed

This bug asks for the list not to be reordered, bug #52115 proposes a specific ordering

If you are happy with the proposal in bug 52115, you can set your own bug as a duplicate of it. The other case would be that you oppose bug 52115..
