document, which does not export correct
I have edited this document first with libre office on opensuse tumbleweed. After that I tried to export it to pdf using libre office 18.104.22.168 on arch linux. But after doing so, the pdf does not contain the Umlaute. I have attached both documents, the original and the failed pdf.
1. Open the attached document (Note: It is displayed correctly)
2. Export it to pdf

Could this be related to font substitution? I can see the font used in the document is Arial. Can you let me know if the Arch Linux machine has this font, and also what happens during PDF export if you use a similar Liberation font?

Hmm yeah you are right. If I use the Liberation font oder ubuntu it does work.
I think that libreoffice still should some how warn me. The problem is that I can not see that there is a font problem. I only see it when it does not export/print correctly. What do you think about that? Should I open another bug?
There's already a bug report on that, see bug 96872.
And I found this bug has also been reported as bug 89246. Please follow that bug report.
