Description Thomas Maeder 2016-07-24 14:13:37 UTC
(Note: minor bug, because it has an easy workaround)

WIth Mac OS X, when using the cmd-K / create hyperlink command and choosing a "document" link, there is no direct way to choose a link to a folder/directory.

Steps to reproduce (in Calc, Text, Draw… any LO 5.1.4.2 component):
1) Choose insert hyperlink in the current file
2) Select the "Document" link
3) Click on the "Browse" button at the right of the path
4) -> The dialog accepts only files, but one cannot select a directory.

Workaround:
… Do steps 1-3
4) Choose any file in the target directory
5) Simply delete the filename in the thus-generated path
(Or directly enter the path)
-> Et voilà… it works!

Regression:
- Intrinsically, links to directories/folders work OK.
- The only issue is the browse dialog, which is "hard-coded" to accept only files.

@Thomas : for it to be a regression, this functionality must have worked in a previous version - which version did it work in previously ?

I have a vague recollection that this particular behaviour has always existed (even with OpenOffice.org), but it is not something I use often, so I could be wrong.
