Created attachment 127224 [details] Screenshot showing that the bottom edge of the working window, and the information, such as Layer selected etc. are not visible. When I open a new file on Drawing now I cannot see the entire working window and cannot view the bottom edge where things such as which Layer is selected are normally visible. I can click the top left resize button on the edge of the window, but this only allows me to have the working window at full size or tile size. When it is at full size, the bottom edge of the window is off the bottom of the screen. This prevents me from seeing the bottom edge of the screen and also, due to the nature of Ubuntu windows, prevents me from grabbing the bottom edge with the mouse pointer and resizing to a smaller size vertically to allow the bottom of the window to be viewed.
I don't get this in Ubuntu with Draw. I would recommend you to try 5.2, but unfortunately it has this nasty bug 101952 regarding window maximization and restore :( Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit Version: 5.2.2.2 Build ID: 1:5.2.2-0ubuntu1~xenial0 CPU Threads: 4; OS Version: Linux 4.4; UI Render: default; Locale: fi-FI (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
I have now installed LibreOffice Version: 5.3.4.2 over what seemed to be the default Version: 5.1.6.2 on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. The issue has now been fixed in that all of the working screen is once again visible. I tested the previous Version: 5.1.6.2 today and the issue still existed. After installing Version: 5.3.4.2 the issue is resolved and no longer occurs. Thank you to all involved. Judson Simzer
