REF: My desktop running Win7 Pro 64bit ALL modules of LO v5.2.2.2 *occasionally* get a crash dialog on Exit.
You don't get offered the crash reporter? Here is a manual way to get crash analysis info: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/How_to_get_a_backtrace_with_WinDbg
ADD: Calc NOT opening maximized, Word DOES open maximized. ALSO: Crash on Exit happens every time for both Calc and Word.
tecknode: can you try getting a backtrace like I asked in comment 1?

Ok, that doesn't look like a backtrace. If you have any problems with the process, you can join us on IRC: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/GetInvolved#Contact
I did try WinDbg backtrace several times but it NEVER WORKED. WinDbg return text says it could not find data (or something like that). It may be that having WinDbg running in background keeps the crash from happening.
One more thing, is this setting enabled: Tools - Options - LibreOffice - View - Use OpenGL for all rendering?
Just set [View][OpenGL]
(In reply to tecknode from comment #8) > Just set [View][OpenGL] What do you mean? That you just set it and it was not enabled before?
Sorry I was not clear, I did not have OpenGL set until the other day.

Just to get some variety in testing, you could try a fresh master build: http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/Win-x86@42/current/ It installs in parallel.
Just updated to LO v5.2.4.2, ALL LibreOffice modules (Calc, Writer, etc) crash on Exit. Note that if I have more than one LO module open (2 Calc sheets or Calk + Writer) the crash happens when I close the the last open module. ALSO: This may be a different issue, I have Update Checks daily but I am NOT getting notifications and manual checks always say 'Up to date' (like I was running LO v5.2.3.2 but had to goto LO site to see v5.2.4.2) ==Win App Log START====== Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 01/14/2017 08:04:37 Event ID: 1000 Task Category: (100) Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: Edward-PC Description: Faulting application name: soffice.bin, version: 5.2.4.2, time stamp: 0x58588d65 Faulting module name: MSVCR120.dll, version: 12.0.21005.1, time stamp: 0x524f7ce6 Exception code: 0x40000015 Fault offset: 0x000a7676 Faulting process id: 0x1a08 Faulting application start time: 0x01d26e7fa9d28cc3 Faulting application path: C:\APPS\LibreOffice\program\soffice.bin Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\MSVCR120.dll Report Id: 259501c5-da73-11e6-99fd-74d435efa743 Event Xml: <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2017-01-14T16:04:37.000000000Z" /> <EventRecordID>194943</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>Edward-PC</Computer> <Security /> </System> <EventData> <Data>soffice.bin</Data> <Data>5.2.4.2</Data> <Data>58588d65</Data> <Data>MSVCR120.dll</Data> <Data>12.0.21005.1</Data> <Data>524f7ce6</Data> <Data>40000015</Data> <Data>000a7676</Data> <Data>1a08</Data> <Data>01d26e7fa9d28cc3</Data> <Data>C:\APPS\LibreOffice\program\soffice.bin</Data> <Data>C:\Windows\system32\MSVCR120.dll</Data> <Data>259501c5-da73-11e6-99fd-74d435efa743</Data> </EventData> </Event> ==Win App Log END======
There were recent fixes to "crash on exit" in connection with having something in the clipboard: bug 104830 and it's "See also" have more info. Fixing these were seen as a reason to hasten the release of 5.2.5. So keep and eye on http://www.libreoffice.org/download/pre-releases/ - a release candidate should hit it next week.
Update: LO v5.2.4.2 LO windows do NOT open maximized as they have in the past. This was a problem when I first reported the 'crash on exit' bug. ALSO: Reminder the in program updates DO NOT WORK. Manual update check ALWAYS says 'up to date' even if it's not.
Closing this as a duplicate of bug 104969 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 104969 ***
YAP, fixed in LO 5.2.5 Thanks guys.
