Description Félix Desjardins 2016-11-07 01:20:24 UTC
Description:
Hi,

My school use Google Education, and we have unlimited drive storage, so I use it for all my school project! I would like to link my Google Drive account to Libre Office. But, my school link our account with their Active Directory.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. File -> [Open from or Save to] Remote Server -> Add Service
2. Type : Google Drive, Username and Password, then Ok.

Actual Results:
It ask for a pin, but I don't have two factor auth.

Expected Results:
Open a web browser, and ask for authorization, and give me a code to copy in Libre Office. "Please copy this code, switch to your application and paste it there:"

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
When I login to Google Drive on any web browser, I do the following :
1. Enter your email : email@domain.ca
2. Then it goes to Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS SSO)
3. I am now login to Google

Could you give a try to last stable LO version 5.2.4 ?
(John: for the moment, LO ppa only proposes 5.2.3 RC2 on LO ppa, see https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ubuntu/ppa but it may help).

I put in See Also tdf#98416.

Giuseppe: thought you might be interested in this one. Just rethinking about tdf#104996, I wonder if would be rather be a dup of 98416 since it doesn't concern Active Directory like this one.

Anyway, let's put this to NEW since symptoms are quite similar.

Sorry for the late answer. On LibreOffice 5.2.4.2.0 it is not working. Same issue.

Also, this is not the same issue as 98416.

Thanks

This bug is still present in LibreOffice 6.1 -- when a GSuite account uses SSO (that is, there is no password) it asks for a 2FA PIN instead of opening the web browser to do the SSO authentication.
