The contextual menus of the toolbars have a "Close toolbar" option (lowest option). This option is not greyed out, which means it is usable. In fact, clicking the option has no effect. This problem is present whether the toolbar is anchored or not. So the questions are: -- why is the option ineffective? -- if it isn't -- which under certain circumstances might make sense -- why isn't the option greyed out? (tested in the Writer and Calc modules of LibreOffice)
Hi Jean-François, I confirm this behaviour since LO 5.0.4.1, with Windows 7 Home. However, this works again on master: LO 5.3.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: b223028d65d24ffcd8e27974c29c2744a5df6227 CPU Threads: 2; OS Version: Windows 6.1; UI Render: default; Layout Engine: new; TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2016-11-16_23:38:55 Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR); Calc: CL Didn't work on: 5.3.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: bbd44f8f89839b5abb4ec6c7ea195431de5b2f48 CPU Threads: 2; OS Version: Windows 6.1; UI Render: default; TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2016-10-26_23:19:45 So, this will work again in the next release. Jacques
