Description: I don't know if it actually counts as a bug. But the properties window is totally gray at some point. Don't know if this should happen, it looks somewhat odd. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Writer 2. Set sidebar to show Properties 2. Insert a chart 3. Click once on the paper (outside the chart) Actual Results: Gray properties screen Expected Results: A place holder or something? I agree. If you click outside twice (get back to the document's properties), then double-click inside the chart, there's this text, which should be a good candidate instead of pure greyness: "Properties for the task that you are performing are not available for the current selection"
A known issue that the dev that did the chart sidebar wasnt able to tackle. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 94295 ***
