In Writer, when you select a chart, it shows area, wrap and position & size content panels in the properties sidebar tab. But when exiting chart edit mode, the properties tab is empty, though the chart is still selected.

The commit to remove the chart sidebar properties tab was solved, but it didnt complete the issue. http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=4248e89e4be31a5cb1c9b0b98b50ee16024ff5d4

No, that is currently the expected behavior. I'm not able to show the writer sidebar as writer is not calling for a sidebar refresh.

@Maxim, @Samuel: Is this something that one of you can look into (making writer request a sidebar refresh after exiting chart edit mode)?
