Description Mark Hung 2016-12-03 11:26:48 UTC
Ctrl + M is associated with clear direct formatting in Calc and Writer. I think that it will be good to have consistent key binding for this function.

Hi Mark,

Seems your patches are conflicting with the discussion going on in bug 87674 and it is planned that Ctrl + M will be used for insert a slide.

In my view this is ok.

Hi Yousuf and Timur,

I missed this item for some while.

My commit didn't change the binding, it just made what had been there in effect.

This issue can be separate into two parts:
1. no shortcut key was associated
2. Ctrl+M for direct-formatting is preferred binding for me, at least from the respect of consistency between modules.

However this issue has been closed, just continue the discussion in tdf#87674 and make whatever changes - as long as it has shortcut key associated and decision justified by good design.
