Description Ofir 2016-12-24 15:05:59 UTC
Description:
The attached PPTX has:
Two tabs on the first line.
A space and three tabs on the second line.

On Impress I see:
One tab on the first line.
A space and two tabs on the second line.

The text after the tabs on Impress is not aligned.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the attached PPTX on Impress
2. Compare with the attached PDF and see that the text on the two rows is not aligned because of the missing tabs.

Actual Results:
Each line is missing one tab. The text after the tab is not aligned.

Expected Results:
First line should have two tabs.
Second line should have a space and three tabs.

Text after the tabs should be aligned.

Reproducible: Always

Repro 7.0+.
Also PPTX attachment 158837 [details] from duplicate bug 131443.
I notice that LO's tabulation is exact, while in those files in source slide1.xml it's real spaces and tabs:
<a:t> </a:t>
Comment 8 NISZ LibreOffice Team 2021-01-14 10:19:10 UTC
Setting the tab size in Impress options dialog to 2.54 cm as suggested in bug #96389 fixes the layout of this file.
I think this is a duplicate.
