Description Tanja 2017-03-28 12:44:34 UTC
When editing slides, I can assign a highlight color to individual text snippets (character properties). However, in presentation mode the highlight color is unfortunately not visible. I consider this a bug.

I use LibreOffice Impress 5.2.3.3 on openSUSE Leap 42.2.

Reproduced on OpenSuse Leap 42.2, LibreOffice 5.2.5.1, build ID 20m0(Build:1), Linux 4.4, local version it-IT (it_IT.UTF-8)

I also had this issue on my old OpenSuse 13.2 before I upgraded to 42.2, but I do not remember the version of LibreOffice

Also reproduced on Ubuntu, but I can't say which version because it's a public pc in a library

Same content, different PDF output

Also reproduced on version: 5.3.7.2, Build ID: 1:5.3.7~rc2-0ubuntu0.16.04.1~lo0
CPU Threads: 8; OS Version: Linux 4.4; UI Render: default; VCL: gtk2; Layout Engine: new; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group

Retrieved from PPA:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/libreoffice-5-3/ubuntu xenial main

Moreover, I see that the conversion to PDF fails differently. The document contains two slides with only one difference: a blue background rectangle. Observe how the white text (non-automatic color!) disappears.

Any workarounds for this?
Comment 7 Buovjaga 2019-04-07 13:16:47 UTC
Could repro with 5.4.2, but not with 6.2.2 (on Win 10). Closing.
