Steps:
1. Open Writer
2. Insert a bullet point and some text next to it
3. Click at bullet character and the cursor position will be before the bullet character
4. Change the bullet font size from 12 to 18 and change its color
5. Click the 'Clear Direct Formatting' button in the formatting toolbar
6. Nothing happens

There exist no "direct formatting" of bullet characters. Therefore 'Clear Direct Formatting' cannot have any effect. See bug 106993.

The fact, that direct formatting does not exist, is already tracked in bug 57337.
