Steps:
1) Open Impress
2) Notice that the slide is in 'Title Slide' layout in the Layouts content panel of the sidebar
3) Slide > Slide Layout > Blank Slide
4) Notice that it hasnt been updated in sidebar

Reproducible,
first clicking on Title to edit or in Text, then it is updated.
