Description gabrielbferrante 2017-06-02 15:24:49 UTC
In Libre Office Writer downloaded two days ago, hyperlinks in comments disappear after saving, leaving an empty comment. Typed text and links that are not active (i.e. you can't click through them) remain.
Comment 1 Xisco Faulí 2017-06-02 15:30:25 UTC Comment hidden (obsolete)
Comment 2 Telesto 2017-06-07 14:09:18 UTC
Created attachment 133896 [details]
Example file

1. Open attached file
2. Save it to DOCX
3. Open the DOCX

I confirm that hyperlinks get lost after saving as docx and reopening in wirter (LO 5.3.4.1 Win10 64Bit) => Set to NEW and made the summary more precise.

But I'm not sure, if this is the behaviour described in the original bug report. So perhaps there are two different bugs?
Comment 4 Yousuf Philips (jay) (retired) 2017-06-07 19:21:33 UTC
So the problem is that the hyperlink text isnt being exported into the <w:t> tag. How LO exports it

<w:hyperlink r:id="rId1">
  <w:r>
    <w:rPr>
      <...>
    </w:rPr>
  </w:r>
</w:hyperlink>

How MS exports it

<w:hyperlink r:id="rId1" w:history="1">
  <w:r>
    <w:rPr>
      <...>
    </w:rPr>
    <w:t>AAAA</w:t> <!-- line that is missing in LO export -->
  </w:r>
</w:hyperlink>

Well if it isnt what Gabriel described in the description, we'll just have to open a new bug for it.
