Created attachment 134622 [details] sample/example I wanted to report this before, but only now I found the time to make an example .docx. Please open the .docx with LO and the figures will appear damaged.
I have placed several figures as I believe that fixing the central bug, will make them be all displayed correctly.

Comment on attachment 134623 [details] Figure 6 as displayed in Word The issues seem quite varied to me, and I doubt all will be gone after fixing figure 6, but I guess it's a step forward.
Confirmed using LO 5.4.0.1 / Windows 7.
@Marco: You should create separate bug reports for each individual problem found in the figures, so they can individually be tackled, as the bugzilla policy is 1 report for 1 bug. I'm modifying this bug report to deal with the missing black lines and rectangle in figures 3, 5, 6, and 8, so please create separate bug reports for 1. incorrect position of horizontal line in figure 2 (this also happens in figure 6) 2. incorrect size of square in figure 3 3. red curved arrow lines in figure 6
Let's focus on figure 6. Also reproduced in Version: 4.1.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: a2c9d4f8bbde97f175bae4df771273a61251f40

** Please read this message in its entirety before responding ** To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! (In reply to Xisco Faulí from comment #6) > Let's focus on figure 6. > > Also reproduced in > > Version: 4.1.0.0.alpha1+ > Build ID: a2c9d4f8bbde97f175bae4df771273a61251f40 Please don't. bug #109129 is explicitly about figure 6. This one should be about figure 3 and 8 which fit the original description of this bug: missing( or only their color is lost?) arrows and rectangle in figure 3 and missing triangles in figure 8. Also a quick inventory about the figures in the original attachment #134622 [details]: Figure 2 -> bug #109127 Figure 3 and 8 -> this one Figure 5 -> OK Figure 6 -> bug #109111
Created attachment 165068 [details] Minimized document from Word only with Figures 3 and 8
Created attachment 165069 [details] The example file opened in Word and current Writer Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) Build ID: 1e0cfd5662d95cea84e80e4fe10d52c3b1101ae6 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: default; VCL: win Locale: hu-HU (hu_HU); UI: en-US Calc: CL
Interesting detail: bug #109128 was about the Figure 3 shape, but it was closed as fixed. Now the example doc in that bug is in compatibility mode according to Word and still opens fine in Writer. The example I just made is NOT in compatibility mode according to Word and misses some elements.
