Description Stuart Edwards 2017-08-29 19:22:18 UTC
Calc freezes on wake up and uses 100% of CPU for a few minutes. Deleting the user profile file solves the problem for a few days but then it returns.

@Stuart : we're going to need more information than that in order to try and reproduce :

- does it happen with any Calc document or just a particular one ?
- how many documents need to be open for the problem to occur ?
- what kind of wake-up are you referring to ? Give precise details of the sleep situation.

Setting NEEDINFO pending requested information. Please set back to UNCONFIRMED once you have provided this information.

The problem occurs with any calc document. Generally I have 5 - 10 documents open at a time using multiple screens. The wake condition is simply when I resume use of the computer after a programmed sleep event.

@Stuart : is your Dock set to Autohide ?
Comment 4 Alex Thurgood 2017-09-05 08:18:48 UTC
If it is, then I suspect you are encountering bug 103126
Comment 5 Stuart Edwards 2017-09-05 13:11:24 UTC
Yes, the dock is set to Autohide.

Slight difference to bug 103126 - in my case the freeze is immediate when interacting with an open document, and does not require me to open a new document. Otherwise very similar.....
