Description:
The menu is not displayed but remains selectable in its normal position, which creates a gap between the display and the selection with the mouse.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open LibreOffice
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
Menu is not displayed

Expected Results:
Displayed menu


Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Disabling graphic acceleration in safe mode resolves the problem.

I think you might be hitting bug 107764, which is not a LibreOffice bug, but a problem with an Intel driver version.

Do you use Intel graphics? If yes, please update the driver as discussed in the other bug (last comments).
