Hello,

I have a strange behavior on Writer and I would like to know if it's a bug or if it's a normal behavior.
Thing to note: It's the same behavior on Microsoft Word.

In a Writer document, the border is splitted if there is a bullets.
Step to reproduce:

- Create a new Writer document
- Add text and insert a bullet list
- Select all the text > right click > Paragraph > Border
- Add a border

The border of the bullet list is not aligned with the border of the paragraph.
I join a screenshot on LibreOffice and a screenshot on Microsoft Word.

Thanks,
Jean-Sébastien Bevilacqua

Reproduce

But, I think this is because of space needed by the bullets! for me, it seems not bug!

It's the expected behaviour. Once the numbering list is created, if you use the ruler on top to set the padding to the same point to the paragraph above, both paragraph are combined.

Thanks for your answer Xisco.
But once you do that, bullets are no more indented.
Is it possible to keep indentation ?

Sincerely,

How to keep all the lines (normal lines and bullet list) in a same paragraph ? I(d like to have only one border in a paragraph, even if there are a bullet list or indented lines (same problem) ?
