Description: Memory problem by closed a Dokument with activated LibreOffice Quick Starter Steps to Reproduce: Dear LibreOffice Team I would like to suggest a suggestion for the LibreOffice Writer, which I would be very happy if you could fulfill them in the upcoming release. My problem is a memory issue when a document is closed. LibreOffice has the function that it starts with the start of the PC, which I like very much, which makes my documents load faster, but when I close my document, it stays in memory forever, which is very annoying because My documents consume 2.6 GB of RAM, which I can only recover if the Task Manager completely exits LibreOffice, which also stops LibreOffice's quick-start and thus loses its advantage. I ask that when closing a document, the RAM released back to the system without me even have to finish the task. Thank you for your attention and look forward to the upcoming releases of LibreOffice. Yours sincerely, J. Schulte Actual Results: Expected Results: Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0

Looks like a duplicate of Bug 115752 to me.
I have a test document for you. It is important that the Bonus "LanguageTool" Installt and active is, to reach the 1,8 GB RAM, but its useless for the problem, because the RAM that got used dont get back after closing the Programm, If the Quickstart is activ Test Document: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NPXKo2nsfn9steLOw1AuWvZxQE21wT-n
I have a Video for you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9De1273b8HM
(In reply to Timur from comment #3) > Looks like a duplicate of Bug 115752 to me. Its not a duplikat. I mean the Quick Starter function on LibreOffice. The Video shows my problem with the Quick Start and not the Performance as Bug 115752. They are similar but not equal.

You can't confirm your own bugs. Moving it back to UNCONFIRMED until someone else confirms it.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Quickstart was removed for Linux in LibreOffice 6.1 < https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/6.1#General_3 > and it should also be removed for Windows at some point in the future. Closing as RESOLVED WONTFIX
