Description:
The language for the spell check is set to English, when using the Assistant (Letter).


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start with a clean installation
2. Extras -> Option -> Language(s) -> Set standard language for all documents to (German).
3. Use the Assistant to create a new Letter.


Actual Results:  
4. In the body of the letter file, the spell check now is set to English.

Expected Results:
The spell check for the whole document is set to (German).


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: No



Additional Info:
The behavior changes after the following:
(use the Steps to Reproduce)
5. Extras -> Language -> For the whole Text -> choose (German)
6. Use the Assistant to create a new Letter.
7. See that now, the body of the documents uses (German) for the spell check

Might coincide with Bug 115263.
(Set default language does not work when creating a new document with right-click - new - OpenDocument Text)

Works fine here (for Finnish). I assume by "Assistant" you mean Tools - Mail merge wizard.

Do you mean you created the document like this?
