How does the problem manifest? Is there an error? What does it say? Where are you saving exactly?

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the information.

Same error as in bug 114226?
"Starting program, a message that Control Folder Access has blocked C:\Program Files\LibreOffice 5\program\soffice.bin from making unauthorized changes to the disk.

You can open files and work but
'Save' triggers message "saving the document xmas2017: General Error.
General input/output error." and malfunctions

'Save As' triggers message "C:\Users\...\Documents\xxx.ods File not found. Check the Filename and try again.""

Ok, then install it again with this as it says in the other report:
"Turning off Controlled folder access in Windows Defender Security Centre allows installation to complete correctly. Then Controlled Folder Access can be turned on."

1. I turned off windows defender
2. re-installed libre office 5.4.5.1
3. started libre office
4. opened file from harddisk, modified file just for trying
5. safe the modified file under new filename
6. the same porblem, I could not save the file in the same place

Do you mean --> "Turning off Controlled folder access in Windows Defender Security Centre allows installation to complete correctly. Then Controlled Folder Access can be turned on" = turn off windows defender ?

I am sorry, my english is too poor, maybe I did not understand correctly what you worte/mean.

I don't know, I've never had this problem. I was just quoting the reporter from the other bug with the same error messages.

You can also try installing a daily build to see, if it behaves differently: https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/Win-x86_64@42/current/

In any case, it is something wrong in your Windows setup.
