[Destination folder information is NOT available]

Internal Error 2902 ixoShortcutPropertyCrate

and rolls back.

---------- WORK-AROUND -----------------

Turning off Controlled folder access in Windows Defender Security Centre allows installation to complete correctly. Then Controlled Folder Access can be turned on.

B U G R E P O R T -------------------

LibreOffice Calc 5.4.3.2
[No exceptions in Controlled Folder Access]

Starting program, a message that Control Folder Access has blocked C:\Program Files\LibreOffice 5\program\soffice.bin from making unauthorized changes to the disk.

You can open files and work but
'Save' triggers message "saving the document xmas2017: General Error.
General input/output error." and malfunctions

'Save As' triggers message "C:\Users\...\Documents\xxx.ods File not found. Check the Filename and try again."

Application will not save.

Allowing C:\Program Files\LibreOffice 5\program\soffice.bin through Controled Folder Access does not change this behaviour.

So as this is about something that is out of our control, is your proposal to include the file and folder path in the error messages?

Naturally the ideal solution would be to say "Hey, Windows Defender is blocking the install, do something about it", but I don't know if we can detect it.
