See bug 105837

The " (U+0022) is being changed by AutoCorrect replacing " with Swiss *-CH use double quotes open « (U+00AB), and close » (U+00BB).

Either disable the Autocorrect for double quotes: Tools -> AutoCorrect -> AutoCorrect Options: Localized Options tab, or specify your preferred Unicode glyph(s) for the double quotes.

Hello Stuart,

your suggestion resolved my problem, thank you.

The options display the correct quote marks, I only see that they are off when I try to change them.

This has never been an issue with LibreOffice. This strange AutoCorrection of the quote marks appeared with the last update.

Many thanks!

Best regards,
Viktor
