Description: A change of height of "Object Area for AutoLayout" is either not saved or not restored when closing and reopening a document Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open LO Impress with new presentation. 2. Go to master slide. 3. Change height of "Object Area for Autolayout". 4. Close master slide. 5. Save document. 6. Close Libreoffice. 7. Reopen document. 8. Check height of "Object Area for Autolayout" on master slide. Actual Results: The "Object Area for Autolayout" has the standard height. Expected Results: The changed height of "Object Area for Autolayout" is saved and restored when changed. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Tested with System: Kubuntu 16.04 LO versions: - 5.1.6.2 (Build-ID: 1:5.1.6~rc2-0ubuntu1~xenial3) - 6.0.4 (1:6.0.4~rc2-0ubuntu0.16.04.1; from fresh ppa) Additional comments: I thought to remember that there existed a bug for LO versions 4 + 5, but I could not find it. I cannot remember whether it was said to be fixed in Version 5 or 6. However I just tested version 6.0.4 from "fresh" ppa on Kubuntu 16.04 and the bug still persists.
Have to correct the bug report or make it more precise: Bug affects only odp-Projects not created with the newest LO version. Following does not work: - Create a Impress document by right click menu in file manager. - Open document with LO. - Change height of AutoLayout. - Save and close LO. - Reopen Document. - Height of AutoLayout is not restored. When importing an older odp-document, the bug occurs. However following works: - Start LO. - Create a new document. - Change AutoLayout height. - Save Document. - Close LO and reopen document. - Height of AutoLayout is restored.
By the way, this is indeed a rather old Bug! See https://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/msg17121.html
(In reply to l.l+libreofficebugs from comment #2) > By the way, this is indeed a rather old Bug! > See https://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/msg17121.html I also thought there was an old launchpad bug for this, however I could not find it (even though I thought I had bookmarked it).
Not reproduced on master. Can you try with 6.1 or daily (6.2)? Easy way: https://libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com/ (In reply to l.l+libreofficebugs from comment #0) > Additional comments: > I thought to remember that there existed a bug for LO versions 4 + 5, but I > could not find it. I cannot remember whether it was said to be fixed in > Version 5 or 6. That was Bug 46881 Set to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away. Created attachment 143641 [details] Document created by right click in Kubuntu 16.04 The attached document was created by right-click-create-new-impress with Kubuntu 16.04. Checked with LibreOfficeDev-daily-x86_64 from 2018-07-19 and the bug persists. To make clear, I repeat: Does work: Create new document with/inside LO and change height of AutoLayout etc. Does not work: Take older odp or right-click-created odp and change height of AutoLayout etc. Will (try to) change back to UNCONFIRMED.
Ok, I somehow missed that. Can repro with your attachment. Arch Linux 64-bit Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 860a9daf2b45942a4b10ff22d36aa3fe29be19f4 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.17; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded Built on July 14th 2018
Same observed with 5.4, 5.0, 4.3, 3.3.
