Same applies to pdf export. Libreoffice does not show a filename, does forget the path. Also the default folder "documents" is not set, starts in $HOME
Which Linux distribution / desktop environment are you using?
Kubuntu Linux 18.04. Unable to reproduce anymore, something in my environment must have changed.
Reproducing again. Not clear what triggers the issue.
NEW per Bernhard's comments. Previously I've observed (with kde4 backend) that when changing filetype to some OOXML, it suddenly changes the file name to some random file from the same directory. Would be interesting to keep an eye on this when kde5 backend gets into a usable state.
This is no longer a problem with the new kde5 backend. Arch Linux 64-bit Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 2c7b0030b40de00e8c9ab997bdfe83631861968a CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.20; UI render: default; VCL: kde5; Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded Built on 1 January 2019
