Test ODS

1. Open Calc table with filtered cells like attached
2. Copy header and filter cells like A1:B3
3. Open new Writer document
4. Edit - Paste special - RTF

Expected: only filtered rows are pasted in table.
Experienced: also hidden rows are pasted if within selected rows

Reproduced in

Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha0+
Build ID: dbf8ad9bc385411c349095dfa66345464b4215d6
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.13; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: ca-ES (ca_ES.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded

I think this issue should be change to become an enhancement.
If LibreOffice detects there are hidden cells, a dialog should be prompted asking the user whether to paste them or not...
Comment 2 Timur 2018-07-13 15:10:12 UTC
You may be right. Dialog asking the user whether to paste them or not, with the option "do not ask again". Only it's a little bit harder to implement.

Workaround:
Copy header and filter cells like A1:B3
Paste in Calc - it will paste filtered rows only
Copy pasted cells
Paste in Writer.
