No translation in Pootle

I suppose we should "Campo" but we must choose the shortcut

When I refer to "Notebook Bar" I mean the new User Interface with Tabs - (Experimental) - which is activated (in Libreoffice Calc) like this:
Go to View - User Interface - Tabbed.
This error persists in LO Calc 6.1.1. - Spanish version.
Comment 7 Albert Acer 2018-09-18 01:43:09 UTC Comment hidden (obsolete)
Comment 8 Albert Acer 2018-11-22 06:58:52 UTC
This error persists in LO Calc 6.1.3. - Spanish version.
I am reporting the error again because at this moment I am testing and using Libreoffice Calc 6.1.3 in Spanish and I find that the reported error has not been resolved. There is the translation error again. That is to say, it was not resolved in version 6.1.3. I understand that, possibly, this bug has not been resolved because I reported it in my native language (Spanish) or you do not find the route to get to the error using the new experimental User Interface with Tabs. To get to the error, please follow this route:

1. Open LibreOffice Calc 6.1.3, Spanish version.
2. Activate the New Interface with Tabs like this: Go to "View" Menu - User Interface - Tabbed. In Spanish it would be: Ver> Interfaz de Usuario> En Pestañas.
3. Go to the "Insert" Tab. In Spanish it would be: "Insertar".
4. Look for "Field" icon. There is the error. This option appears in English. Therefore, spanish translation is missing.
5. "Campo" should appear instead of "Field".
6. To see the Menu Bar again:
a. Go to the “View” Tab. In Spanish “Ver”.
b. At the end, on the right border, look for the drop-down list “View”. In Spanish “Ver”.
c. Search and select the Menu Bar option. In Spanish “Barra de Menús”.
Comment 9 Xisco Faulí 2018-12-27 10:46:51 UTC
Still reproducible in

Comment 10 Albert Acer 2019-02-12 06:38:11 UTC
This translation error still appears in LO 6.1.5 and 6.2, Spanish Version, in the Calc, Print and Draw applications.

This anomaly that has been reported several times, and has not been completely solved, is presented only in the new experimental User Interface with tabs under the "Insertar" tab where an icon with the name of "Field" appears whose name should appear in Spanish language as "Campo" instead of "Field". Now this translation error is repeated in the applications Calc, impress and Draw, affecting users of versions 6.2, 6.1, 6.0, whose native language is Spanish and who are also not bilingual.
Comment 11 Albert Acer 2019-02-12 06:41:38 UTC
Correction:

This translation error still appears in LO 6.1.5 and 6.2, Spanish Version, in the Calc, Impress and Draw applications.
Comment 12 Julien Nabet 2019-02-12 08:08:54 UTC
Version field must correspond to the earliest one so I reverted back the version.

Adolfo: any thoughts here?
Comment 13 Julien Nabet 2019-02-13 07:34:32 UTC
Could you stop putting a more recent version in Version Field?!
Version must correspond to the EARLIEST one not the NEWEST one.
Comment 14 Albert Acer 2019-03-09 19:26:32 UTC
Please forgive me for my clumsiness
Comment 15 Albert Acer 2019-03-09 19:33:43 UTC
Partially solved. This translation error was solved in LO Impress 6.2.1 and LO Draw 6.2.1, but it still appears in LO Calc 6.2.1, Spanish version.
Comment 16 Julien Nabet 2019-03-10 13:23:18 UTC
On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I could reproduce this.
I don't understand why since the keyid bBEGh shows it's been translated in Spanish, see https://translations.documentfoundation.org/es/libo_ui/translate/#search=bBEGh&sfields=source,target,notes
Comment 17 Albert Acer 2019-03-11 04:07:35 UTC
Possibly missing the full path to reach the Field button on the Insert tab.
Calc|Notebookbar|Insert Tab|FieldMenuButton

Or something similar. I do not know how to do it.
Comment 18 Albert Acer 2019-03-22 18:42:31 UTC
Now still reproducible only in LO Calc: 6.2.2.2, Spanish Version, using the new User Interface (UI) with Tabs.

The error route is: Insert tab (in spanish is "Insertar")-> "Field" button.
You must put "Campo" instead of "Field" on the name of that button.

UI de LibreOffice Calc 6.2.2.2 en español, con pestañas, usando Windows con un PC x86_64

We do not use any GNU/Linux distribution for now. We use Windows and try to use LibreOffice instead of Microsoft Office. Many people in Latin America do this in schools, colleges, universities, small businesses, community organizations, some government entities, internet rooms and some small banks.
Today, using Windows and LibreOffice Writer 6.2.2.2 in Spanish, I see the User Interface (UI) with tabs according to the image attached here. For us it is very important to have the entire User Interface in Spanish because we have come to use Microsoft Office in Spanish, but We are trying to make the change because the MS Office license is too expensive for us.

I understand but meanwhile, it seems you should stick to standard interface (at least not Tabbed one) if you want full Spanish.

The translation for the Field icon is missing
Comment 22 Albert Acer 2019-11-03 04:11:26 UTC
This error remains unresolved in LO 6.3.3 Calc, Spanish version. I am attaching an image that graphically shows the lack of Spanish translation in Calc, using the new User Interface with Tabs.

I just put each time "Ca_mpo" in Weblate for master sources (future 6.4.0) and in Pootle for 6.3 sources.
Comment 24 Julien Nabet 2019-11-10 13:52:07 UTC
Following my last comment, let's put this one to FIXED.

Albert, don't hesitate to reopen this tracker if you still reproduce this with next release 6.3.4 or a recent daily build from master sources (in last 24 hours)
Comment 25 Albert Acer 2019-12-17 06:18:40 UTC
Now I can see that this has been resolved in LO Calc 6.3.4 in Spanish. Thank you.
Comment 26 Albert Acer 2020-03-10 04:55:16 UTC
Unfortunately I have to report that this bug has reappeared in LO 6.4 and 6.4.1 in Spanish, directly affecting the Calc application, after being perfectly resolved in LO 6.3.5 in Spanish. I think this is related to Weblate. In the Image that I attached today 10-March-2020, you can see how and where the error is. The solution should be to put "Campo" instead of "Field".

Bug 119473 reappeared in LO 6.4 in Spanish.
Comment 28 Julien Nabet 2020-03-11 08:43:36 UTC
Indeed the translation was missing for 6.4 and master in Weblate.
I put it back, see https://translations.documentfoundation.org/translate/libo_ui-master/scmessages/es/?checksum=8852d48fc8e82177

As usual, I don't know how much time it will take.
Comment 29 Adolfo Jayme Barrientos 2020-03-11 10:36:18 UTC
Hm, weird that it was missing… BTW it’s not the first time I’ve seen a string going missing after a repo update: it’s happened to me in help thrice in e.g. this file (note the history tab, where multiple submissions have been made): https://translations.documentfoundation.org/translate/libo_help-master/textshared01/es/?checksum=15c083f7383dc2cc I already notified Cloph about this.

Thanks again Julien for taking the time and effort. I owe you more than one drink!
Comment 30 Albert Acer 2020-05-06 09:11:43 UTC
I did a new test with LO Writer 6.4.3 in Spanish, using Windows 10 (64 Bit), and I was able to confirm that this error is 100% resolved in LO 6.4.3 in Spanish, thanks for that.
Comment 31 Julien Nabet 2020-05-06 09:28:04 UTC
Thank you for your feedback Albert, let's put this one to VERIFIED then.
