in my invoice model I have my IBAN number in the footer. The footer has forced justification and the IBAN code itself has a wide letter spacing (1.5 pt).
I send the PDF/A-1, and I wish the client to be able to copy-paste the IBAN, but it comes with extra spaces between the caracters, as follows:

Is this a pdf or libreoffice problem?
I attach both the writer document (with embedded fonts) and the ouput PDF.
I also attach a test file where this doesn't happen, and the result is as expected (no extra spaces)

Steps to reproduce
1. Open a document in writer
2. Type a word in the footer
3. Change character spacing to 2pt
4. Export to PDF
5. Open PDF => Copy the text => paste into an new document => extra spaces instead of character spacing

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/
2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword
