Bugzilla is "issue based", so a single issue must be pointed at, after a search for not being a duplicate. Bugzilla is not "document based", like "this document doesn't display nice". Those are 2 issues. "Table design" request is a dupe of Bug 112371. As for "Drop-down formula menu", that seems to be Excel subtotal drop down list of functions. This bug could be converted to that request, should it be confirmed.
Per previous comment, this bug is about "subtotal drop down list of functions". It's obvious Calc doesn't have it but whether this bug should be confirmed depends on a decision. I'm not sure if this is more NeedsUXEval or NeedsDevAdvice.
We do have subtotal() but not with a fancy menu (or any good support). https://help.libreoffice.org/6.1/en-US/text/scalc/01/04060106.html?DbPAR=CALC#bm_id3165633 I suggest to create a new ticket as the style aspect is discussed in the other bug. The solution could be a menu entry (resp. UNO command) that pops-up the dropdown and asks after click for the range if none has been defined before.
I didn't understand why a new ticket. I'll confirm per previous comment as enhancement.
This is the "Total Row" feature of Excel Tables. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 132780 ***
