Description bjoern.asser 2018-10-12 23:38:49 UTC
Description:
Hello,
I use Tablets very often and am used to simply scroll up and down with my finger. In LO, the text is highlighted during the scroll gesture. Can this be changed? It's really annoying to push this little scroll bar up and down.

Does not anyone use LO on a tablet?

Actual Results:
No sensible working on a tablet

Expected Results:
scroll up and down with my finger on Touchscreen

Reproducible: Always

That is a know issue as bug 85677.

The Desktop builds of LibreOffice are optimized for mouse/keyboard interaction. But the Project's MUFFIN initiative has brought some flexible GUI improvements notably to the Notebook bar with additional work to be done, e.g. bug 102378

The Android builds optimized for mobile devices may see some work to support tablets, e.g. bug 106318

Increasing the target size of elements in the GUI can not be done at present for the Desktop builds. Rather, as a workaround your DE should allow you to scale the entire desktop to larger elements and allow LO use from tablet modes.n Not ideal, but as can be seen in other touch screen related issues of the meta--work to be done.
