This complaint can be divided into three parts. (Caesar would be proud!) Tested on: Version: 7.2.2.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 02b2acce88a210515b4a5bb2e46cbfb63fe97d56 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded using originator's attachment. Part 1: Complaint seems to be that if one is in cell edit mode or text box edit mode (either way with the insertion caret active) then the free-moving mouse cursor does not respond to hover over a hyperlink nor respond to a single Ctrl+click. While having a "hot" mouse cursor is common in some software (such as modern browsers), I do not see it as an expectation. Perhaps the originator could consider submitting as a feature request? Part 2: Complaint seems to be that one cannot see tool tip on hover over a hyperlink within a shape, and that mouse cursor does not change to pointing finger during such hover. Testing on 7.2.2.2 would seem to indicate otherwise. Originator's hyperlink within "Shape Rectangle A" shape response exactly as does a hyperlink in a cell; in fact, the pointing finger seems more likely to appear than when link is in a cell (see Part 3). Part 3: Sometimes when hovering over a hyperlink (with or without Ctrl pressed) the mouse cursor turns into the pointing finger, sometimes it remains the basic arrow. This seems dependent on some manner of state--it does not just alternate randomly. This is not expected behavior, and might be considered a bug. Either way, however, the tool tip appears and the link works as expected.
